Anti-G Suit Pressure-Regulating Valve

The Anti-G Suit Pressure-Regulating Value regulates air pressure to the G-Suit, and permits automatic inflation of the suit in positive-G situations.

Pressing the button atop of valve tests the G-Suit.

Spare Lamps

The spare lamps stored in this panel can replace burnt-out lights in the cockpit.

Wing Flap Handle

This three-position lever actuates the flaps until they reach one of three positions:

Selection	Description
UP	Raises wing flaps level with the wing, for example, during cruise.
INTERMEDIATE	Half wing flaps, for example, during taxi and takeoff.
DOWN	Lower wing flaps, for example, during landing.

Landing Gear Handle

Landing gear can't be retracted while the aircraft has has weight on the wheel.

Selection	Description
UP	Retract landing gear
DOWN	Extend landing gear

Landing/Taxi Light Switch

Illuminates the Landing/Taxi lights. When the aircraft has weight on wheels, the lights extend farther, providing properly directed beams for taxi.

Landing Gear Indicator

These three lights illuminate when the landing gear assemblies fully extended in the down and locked position.

Emergency Jettison Button

Pressing and holding this button jettisons all ordinance after a timed delay, regardless of the position of the Bomb Arm Switch and Station Release Selection Switches.

Landing Gear Warning Cutout

Suppresses the landing gear audio warning signal when:

• Landing gear is not down and locked
• Altitude is less than 10,000 feet
• Airspeed is less than 205 (±5) KIAS
• Throttle is retarded below 85% RPM

Fire Detector System Test

Tests the continuity of the red fire and overheat-warning system on the instrument panel.

Arresting Hook Release Button

Press to release the arresting hook. Once the arresting hook is released, the ground crew must reset it.

Canopy Switch

This three-position switch is spring-loaded to rest in the center position when not held.

Selection	Description
OPEN	Actuates the canopy motor toward the fully open position.
OFF (center)	Disengages the canopy motor.
CLOSED	Actuates the canopy motor toward the fully closed position.
