Preflight Check

Once in the takeoff area:

1. Hydraulic Pressure Gauge Selector Switch—UTILITY
2. Speed Brake Switch—IN—Check speed brake is up, then move the switch to the OFF position.
3. Wing Flaps—INTERMEDIATE
4. Takeoff trim—CHECK
5. Pitot heat—ON

6. Canopy—CLOSED AND LOCKED

   Note

   Ensure a tight seal by holding the canopy control switch in the CLOSE position for a few seconds after the CANOPY NOT LOCKED warning light extinguishes.

7. Anti-Collision Lights—AS REQUIRED
